support lexmark com Has something to do with the cartridge not being installed properly. (Not a paper jam even though the second sheet jammed) Steps to follow are at the website.
My experience is a soiled copy is that the toner will rub off. If this is what the symptom is you have a heat issue ,
The fixing assembly is not at the correct temperature, or the teflon has worn off the upper fixing roller. thus the ink or toner is distorted when it is fixed to the paper.Of course check the paper for moisture and replace and dont forget to FAN YOUR PAPER.
Leading cause of paper jams is debris / foreign objects that accidentally fell into the paper feed area. Please try this approach to fix the problem: 1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.2. Grab a flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.3. If you're willing and physically able, you may also carefully turn the printer over. Any debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.4. If feeder is clear, place the printer on the table. Open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.5. Check the cartridge area for any obstructions in the paper path.6. Close the printer cover.7. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - the black box where the power cord is plugged into. Re-plug after 30 seconds.8. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print again to verify that the problem is fixed.
If you are ready to open it, then do the following steps else send it to a ervice center.Ok >Remove the top cover by taken up the screws >u can see the print head and a roller. >remove the roller by taking out its serews(sme having lock) >your napkin paper is seen unde it >remove it >then fix the roller, print head and top cover one by one (dont forget to fix the screws)
Hi, i dont know you've got the same problem as i did. But i tell you how i fixed my problem. My printer said i ran out of paper, but there's plenty of paper where it should be. What i did to fix it was that i pulled some paper (remove the gray back plastic, turn pinter around, you can see the rubber rollers now) futher out and then placed the gray plastic back. Put the printer off and on the paper comes out. Then again off and on, then go rpint of copy something and it works again. I hope you it does the trick for your problem.
laser printers dont use ink. you will have to check the sensors. first the one where you put the media (paper) then check the registry one (remove the cartridge and you should see it) then the fixing on, from the back it has a small cover you can open an dthen a pair of green coloured levers to remove any jammed paper in fixing (the hot ***'y) then check the delivery sensor right where normally you see the page printed out and coming your way. there should not be any media remains anywhere. also if you copier is dirty it may also be causing this. try to clean it with compressed air.
1. Switch off the
printer and disconnect the power supply. Allow any residual charge
inside the all-in-one printer to dissipate before putting your hands or
any metal tools inside the chassis.
2. Pin down the exact
location of the jam. The 3 hot spots for a jam are before a sheet
completely leaves the paper tray, anywhere between the feed tray and
print carriage or between the print carriage and output tray.
3. Take off the front
paper tray if the sheet jammed while still in the front area of the
printer. If here, you should be able to see most of the paper.
4. Pull the sheet with
both hands and steady pressure. Do not tug as you might rip the paper,
leaving a piece deeper inside the machine.
5. Open the back panel to reach paper jammed between the feed-tray area and print carriage. Carefully remove the jammed paper.
6. Use the carriage
access door to get at a jam further inside the printer. You may need to
remove the print carriage to get to the jam.
7. Replace all parts and
return any access panels to their closed and locked positions. Plug
your printer back in and flip the power switch.

If you cant get paper out from inside after removing cartridge then there is No easy fix, and the roller at rear is called a fuser, these parts dont come out easy, machine will need all covers removed, plugs disconnected and brackets removed, gears pulled off and fuser removed, maybe replaced if there is a reason why it wrapped around roller
