Hiya. So long as it's not the main (Administrator), account it's pretty straightforward:
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click Accounts.

1. Click the lock icon to unlock it, and type an administrator name and password.
2. Select the user account you want to delete, and then click the Delete (-) button.
3. Click OK to save the user's files on the computer, or click Delete Immediately to remove the user account and all the user's files. If you saved the user's files, they are stored in a disk image in the Deleted Users folder, in the Users folder. To see the saved files, double-click the disk image in the Deleted Users folder. To delete the user's files, drag the disk image to the Trash.

Hope this helps :)

Applications Folder, Utility and look for Disc Utility and use it to change the password. If that does not do it, then use the Recovery Disc and reformat the HD and start over.

How do I delete admin account on a MacBook?

You have to have another account on the machine. System Preferences>Users>Click on the lock if it is locked, and type in the admin password. From here, you can add or remove users.
If you want to remove this because you don't have the admin password, for example removing a previous owner from a used laptop you've purchased legally, you can boot from the OSX disc and change the password through the menu bar there.

Locked out of Mac Osx can't remember admin password and have no disk to fix and clear it all to reset password

Turn the computer on Hold Command + S Wait till it enters what is called Single User Mode Type: mount -uw / hit enter Type: launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDameons/com.apple.DirectoryServices.plist hit enter Type: dscl . -delete /Users/"yourusername" AuthenticationAuthority hit enter Type: passwd "yourusername" hit enter Type a new password Then retype password. type: exit then reboot
If you don't know your username before you type the dscl command type: ls /Users and find your account and use that name for the user name.

I want to restore my mac back to factory settings

There are 2 ways this is most commonly accomplished: 1: You could use the original OSX disk to reformat your MacBook and restore it to the factory settings. You'll need to click on "install Tiger" after putting the CD in and it will restart the mac. A dialog box will come up, click on options, then choose "erase and install". This will erase the ALL DATA so make sure that is what you really want. If you do not have the disk, proceed to step 2.
2: Create a new user account on your laptop. After you create the new account, log out then log back in and erase the old user account. This will delete all the personal files from the original acoount. However, the best way to actually get it back to factory would be step one because step 2 does not actually delete or reset any settings that were modified by the original user account. If possible, always try to procure a disk when restoring. It is definitely the better way to go. I hope this helps you! Please remember to vote if this helped.

I am trying to fix a problem with my Ibook G4, We seem to have a problem with the OSx, if we reloaded the MAC OSx can we do it without losing any personal data. I see there is an option to Archive files...

You should be able to reinstall MacOSx without deleting the accounts. Archive and install saves all the old system stuff in a separate directory for you to delete later. Make sure you Use "Preserve Users and Network Settings" to have your user accounts in the new system.

Master reset mac pro

There are a few ways to do this.
Method 1 Create a new user account, making sure to give the user Admin access. Once you create this new user, log into the new user account and delete the old user. This is the quickest and easiest way(this works best with 10.5, if you're running 10.4 or earlier try method 2.)
Method 2 Take the install disc and reboot your computer with the disk in the drive. On start up, hold the "c" button. Now you can re-install the operating so you can have a clean start. (if you don't have the install dvd, refer to Method 3)
Method 3 Delete all the unnecessary applications, once done create a new user with admin privileges. Log in with this account and delete the old account. This way you won't have any of the programs you don't want and the new user will have factory account settings. As close as you can get to a fresh start.
No matter what method you choose, be sure to back up important information.
