Sony ereader pages skip ahead - Sony Reader Touch PRS-600

You should be able to skip this part. See if you can find a skip button somewhere on the screen, they are usually hard to find because they don' want you to skip. But I'm sure it's in there.

Or you should be able to register one in that page, it's very convenient to have one.

Hi, you have to plug the ereader into your main computer for it to recharge. It may take a few hours. The Sony library page should open on your computer, if it does not you may need to re register your device. The Reg. no. Is on the back.

CD disk bad. (audio disc bad or scratched)
or CD dont really support disk media format , is this a CDDA or MP3
some early MP3 disc drives do MP3 very poorly
or skips when you hit bumps in the road.
only that disc skips.?

The pages should change singly provided you only press the page advance button (the larger button on either side of the display) lightly and just the one press of minimum duration.
If you hold the page advance button for a longer period then you will get some pages being skipped over.
Also, check that you are not pressing the 4-way control right or left buttons as these will cause you to jump a chapter at a time or more.
The only other suggestion is to check that you have the latest software update (version 3.3) for the Kindle Keyboard 3G model - this should download and update itself on this model but can be done manually if needed.

if its skipping ahead Almost like the needle is just gliding across the Record. It means your needle is bent, dirty or broken, Take it off and look at it closely.

Your cd player is fubar and in definite need of replacement.
Tape unit seems to have a mind of its won. Try to reset the electronics to factory defaults. If that has no remedy, since it is a sony< best advise is to trash it. Repair cost is prohibitively expensive.

it is happening to me too, but on the android. and it skips and then goes back to the android, help me pleaseeeeeeeeeeee!

u need a new hdmi cable

go to settings then music and you should see the option to shake to shuffle
