Yo can create custom shortcut by doing the following : Start > All Programs > Windows Media Center, and right click on it. Select properties. Under "target" you will see "%windir%\ehome\ehshell.exe". Simply add the switches you wish Media Center to start with and hit OK. For example, if your shortcut looked like the following: %windir%\Ehome\Ehshell.exe /nostartupanimation /noshutdownui /mediamode
Hope this helps. Here is a list bellow.
/nostartupanimation

The manual for the Polaroid IDF-1030 is ridiculously simple and not very helpful. There's actually more information on the outside of the box.
One of the features that is not intuitively easy to figure out is how to get the frame to display a picture slideshow AND play music at the same time. The remote is the only way that you can set this up.
First, on your computer, create a folder for the images and a folder for the music. If you put music in the images folder, your slideshow will stop at the first music file it finds and just display the music player's equalizer interface. This is very boring.
Note on the pictures.. spend a little time and reduce the size of your pictures to 640 x 480 pixels. Dealing with large files on the photo frame is painfully slow.
images should be in JPEG (.jpg) format although it will also display .gif files. Music should be MPEG (.mp3) format.
Copy these folders to the root of your memory card.
Put the memory card in the Polaroid frame card slot and turn it on.
Use the remote and press the STOp button if it automatically starts displaying the pictures.
Press the MUSIC button and select the REPEAT button until you see REPEAT ALL at the bottom of the screen.
Press the PLAY/PAUSE to start the music, then immediately press the SLIDESHOW button to start the slideshow with music.
I hope this helps some of you who had trouble with this.
there is no present fix for this if i remember the hulk has this too the only way around this is to go into menu and turn off the on screen display messages
In order to display slideshows in Nikon View the Apple QuickTime software must be installed. QuickTime is installed from the Nikon View CD or can be downloaded, for free, from the Apple Computer web site:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/qt/
Quicktime is available for Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP as well as Apple Mac OS 9 and X.
If Apple QuickTime is not installed, when the "Slideshow" button is clicked the computer will "beep" and nothing else will happen. Installing QuickTime and restarting the computer will allow the show to display as desired.
