How can we restart our brand new Maytag dishwasher model # MDB7749SBMO?

I DON'T KNOW. PLEASE CHECK FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER FOR WASHER. IF OK, MOVE BREAKER TO OFF AND ON A FEW TIMES. LOOK TO SEE IF YOUR WASHER CONNECTION IS A 110V PLUG THAT IT IS
FIRMLY PLUGGED IN. THE DOOR SWITCH MAY BE LOOSE OR HAS FAILED. IF POSSIBLE LEAN ON THE
DOOR WHEN CLOSED TO SEE IF PANEL COMES ON.

Maytag's quality control CANNOT check every unit that comes off the assembly line, so occasionally a bad unit can pass thru, it is fully covered under the manufactures warranty, contact your nearest Maytag authorized service center for repair or replacement.
It would be my recommendation to call the phone number in the back of your owners manual to contact Maytag directly also, just to let them know.

most common faults with dishwashers is a drain fault. Check for any kinked hoses and check the drain spigot under the sink where the drain hose connects into the u bend. Usually this is where food gets trapped due to the spigot not being drilled out large enough. This then causes a blockage. In your case it may not have been drilled out at all as plumbers sometimes forget to do this especially as you mentioned the unit was brand new.! Also check the non return valve under the filter and make sure the drain pump can turn freely.

The reason that the dishwasher is not drying completely is that newer model dishwashers do not have as powerful a heating element to dry the dishes. This is for several reasons mainly due to the manufacturer attempting to reduce power consumption by the machine. The condensation is caused by the same thing. Not much you can do to fix the problem other than towel them off by hand if you dont want to put them away wet.

If you open the door after the cycle, does it clear the display? Mine is a different maytag model, and when it's done it shows the display as clean. The display will go blank when I open the door manually... let me know if that helps.

Everything is fixable, you just need to weigh the cost of repair against a new dishwasher. To help solve your problem, I would need the brand and model number of your dishwasher. Plus, you say it's from the electronics panel? Is this a board in the dishwasher itself or did you mean the electrical panel on the wall?
