You must download the chrome app to your phone and access using google chrome browser.

The optical cable should work. It's possible your set requires you to select external speaker in menu for optical out to function. Hope this helps.

I have a Proscan Flat Screen TV Model PLEDV2845A. I want to connect my Philips HTL2101A Sound Bar.

I have intially connected both via Coax cable as the soundbar does NOT have HDMI port. I then went into the setup on the TV to Sound, set sound to PCM

Initially it worked fine. 2nd day it will not won't work. Per instructions from Philips I have upgraded the firmware on the SoundBar.

You have to use the TV remote to set the TV sound option to external. Look on TV setup menu for 'external output' or 'external speakers'.

With out a model number of your unit I can't be of perfect help, but I believe your set does not have an audio output. The only way you will be able to use the sound bar is to run the audio from your cable or sat box to the sound bar.

Check the manuals and seen may be something.
