How to change the fuse Model smh1611s

time to take it to an appliance repair shop for a quote
it is blowing fuses and tripping breakers because it has a serious short in the electrics

Where the tab broke off drill a small hole about 1/8 in hook spring back close back frame. no new part needed

A bit more info? BRAND? MODEL? AGE?
Sounds like the Magnetron might done. Checked the Thermal fuse? (should reset)

please make this test use the multimeter and fix it.

This model is not producing heat, everything else is working, but not heating up anything.

HI. in most cases, this will lead to a failed Heating device(magnetron tube).It would be wise to check the Magnetron cutoff fuse to be sure of its integrity. if the fuse is blown, simply replace it. if the fuse continues to show continuity, replace the magnetron.

(((The fuse is located inside the unit along side the magnetron)))

Do the inside light and turntable come on when you try to cook?

Is it making any unusual noise or is it louder or quieter than normal?

Do you have the model number?

no, just 1 main fuse for everything. there are temp safety devices though, and door closed safety switches. Most likely failure though is the magnatron.

check the magnitron and capacitors one of this is bad
