Every time i try to navigate, it says error in planning a route than freezes, i than reset it by putting a pin at the back of the machine, but no luck pls help

When I attempt to map a route my 910 does the planning but during the writing stage it get's a "error during planning" message. This happens whenever I attempt to plan a route, 1 mile to 1000 miles. Just had this problem with my Tom Tom XL IQ Routes. Screen freezing and then rebooting exactly every 3 minutes just after I had done an upgrade to maps and application software. After trying a software reload and getting nowhere I solved it by simply doing a factory reset using the factory reset option in the units menu. No problem since. Couldn't believe it was that simple. I will however be keeping a very close eye on it!
Look on the botom keeping screen towards your face on the top right of the connector will see half circle shape with very tiny hole. take a stapler pin to reset
Hi Gualbeer. Why don't you try screen touching the change preferences then the Reset factory settings that works like reformatting ones computer. rrp3dgt
the reset button is onthe back and you usually need a pen or pin to press it in. other than that confirm it is fully charged if it still isn't working then return it as faulty to the place you purchased it
