Canon scan 4200 f driver for linux - Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router

The 2900 driver should work for the 2900E. The problem may be that there is a:

Canon SENSYS i-LBP-2900, and

Canon Laser Shot LBP-2900

Which printer do you have? Which driver did you download?

there is no driver for x5470 available under linux.
The driver detected by cups is 5000 series (previous model) not a x5000 series.

check this site and download only for scanning driver, http://www.samsung.com/us/support/detail/supportPrdDetail.do?menu=SP01&prd_ia_cd=&prd_mdl_cd=&prd_mdl_name=SCX-4200

Wireless scanning is not a supported feature in the SCX-4200.

You can download the drivers off the Canon website. My fiance' has a Pixma 4200 and I was able to download the driver there a few months ago.

Karateng83, Have you gone to the Linux download sites to verify if a driver is available for the Canon FB630U? The next thing to do is to go to Canons homepage and if you cannot find anything there, e-mail them with your request. If that fails, go to Sourceforge.com and verify what is available for Linux drivers. they have a search engine.
