Model CKS2237 Daylight Savings needs to be reprogramed

How do I get the clock to reprogram for the new daylight savings?

I have tried every buttom individually or combined to see if i could change the hour with no luck

I have the same problem....since they moved Daylight Savings up...I've had to unplug in until the actual Daylight Savings day occurred. I have the Emerson Smartset CKS2237..is there anything that I can do?

You will need a pdf reader and writer to read the web page and make a copy for your use. If you are still having problems with making the setting for the new daylight saving standard you can call the Emerson customer support at this telephone number 1-800-909-1240. Call them between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm central time USA. Give them the make and model number of your Clock/Radio. Ask them for their assistance to help you make the correct settings for your Clock/Radio. How do you correct the daylight savings time problem

If your clock changed to DST late then it's hardwired for the old changeover schedule - and there's no way to reprogram it. All you can do is reset the time manually or change your time zone setting to "fool" the clock into displaying the correct time. Either way, you're going to need to reset the clock as many as four times a year to keep the correct time. The ultimate solution is to replace the clock with one that's set up for the new DST schedule.

MY CKS1850 SMART CLOCK. IT IS A FEW YEARS OLD. IT

The daylight saving time change is calendar based, and unfortunately there is no way to reprogram it to the new schedule. You'll have to make the time changes manually.

My clock went back one hour on Sunday 10/25, need to get it to move ahead one hour.

The clock program for Daylight savings Time is programmed for the old "third Sunday in October" changeover. The new changeover is the first Sunday in November. The program probably cannot be updated. If there is no button or setting to disable automatic change to Daylight Savings Time you can set the time manually and then change it manually to Daylight Savings on November 1 for the time to be correct.

Daylight Savings Times Changed

We set the time zone to '7' , which is Hawaii time zone where there is no change for daylight savings. This came up because it changed automatically on this morning...and although we can change it back, then it won't change next week when it should. So we're hoping that by setting it to Hawaii it will be a regular clock, we will do the changing...but at least we won't be surprized as we were this AM.
