I have replaced cords on several vacs. Unplug, take all screws out to gain access. Usually it's just two wires to disconnect and two to affix in their place. As an easy way to keep track of what screw goes where ,I used colored tape. I place lil pieces of colored tape near the hole and stick the screws to a piece of tape with corresponding color. I bought an old vac at a rummage for 2.00 and salvaged the cord off that vac. But first I made sure the cord on that unit was free of frays n cracks and had good rubber coating. Less than 1/2hr later I was using the vac with the cord I just replaced.

I have a DC19 and the head will not release from the wand. The release button seems stuck?

A completely white screen with white vertical lines on your Mitsubishi WD 77731 TV can be an indication of several possible issues. Here are some potential causes:
  1. Faulty T-Con board: The T-Con board is responsible for processing the image signal and distributing it to the screen. If the T-Con board is faulty, it can cause the white screen and vertical lines issue.
  2. Loose or damaged cable connections: Loose or damaged cable connections can interfere with the transmission of the image signal, causing the white screen and vertical lines issue.
  3. Failed backlight: The backlight of the TV illuminates the screen from behind. If the backlight has failed, it can cause the screen to appear white.
  4. Damaged LCD panel: The LCD panel is the display screen of the TV. If the panel is damaged, it can cause the white screen and vertical lines issue.
To troubleshoot the issue, you can try the following steps:
  1. Check the cable connections: Make sure that all cables connecting the TV to the source device (such as a cable box or gaming console) are properly connected and undamaged.
  2. Power cycle the TV: Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  3. Check the T-Con board: If the T-Con board is faulty, it may need to be replaced. You can check for any visible signs of damage or contact a professional to diagnose and replace the board if needed.
  4. Check the backlight: If the backlight has failed, it may need to be replaced. You can shine a flashlight on the screen to see if there is any image visible, which would indicate a failed backlight.
  5. Contact a professional: If none of the above steps resolves the issue, you may need to contact a professional for further diagnosis and repair.

Blue light on linx charger not working

It sounds like there may be a problem with the charging system on your Linx charger. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the charging cable: Make sure that the charging cable is properly plugged into the charger and the device being charged. Check for any visible damage or fraying on the cable. If the cable is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
  2. Check the charging port: Make sure that the charging port on the device being charged is clean and free of any debris. If the port is dirty or obstructed, it can prevent the device from charging properly.
  3. Check the battery: If the device being charged has a removable battery, make sure that the battery is properly installed and not damaged. If the battery is damaged or not properly installed, it can prevent the device from charging.
  4. Check the power source: Make sure that the power source, such as an outlet or power strip, is functioning properly and is providing an adequate power supply.
If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a problem with the charger or the device being charged. In this case, it may be necessary to have the charger or device repaired or serviced by a professional.

What kind of glue do i need to replace the water pan gasket?

A nice weather stripping glue that remains flexible / does not become rock hard. If the glue is not flexible and gets hard it may become brittle or damage the housing and make the screws impossible to get out years later. We use this Glue.

No steam comming out of my h2o x5 cleaner

see the causes and proceed with common sense. and fix it. God bless you
If the spray function has quit working on the carpet cleaner, check to make sure there is a full tank of water. If the water level is adequate, check the position of the gasket on the bottom of the water tank assembly. The gasket can become lodged, damaged, or removed. If this has happened, fix the gasket to the proper position according to the user manual, or replace the damaged or missing gasket.

  • 2 Change the belt on a steam cleaner that has inoperable brushes. From time to time, belts on carpet steam cleaners become worn, and you must replace them. If the brushes on your unit have stop moving or do not turn on, you may have a damaged belt.
Replace a belt at home easily with little expense. Refer to your user's manual for replacement instructions and the part number for purchasing the belt. Remove and replace the belt according to the model of steam cleaner you own. Purchase a new belt at home improvement stores or directly

Since I replaced the bag in my Eureka Rally 2 (this was the first time) the suction has not been working well. Could you please tell me what I could have done incorrectly. Thankyou

The dust bag holder is an important part of this vacuum. Make sure the bag is installed into the holder sliding bag collar into slots to secure.
Make sure the bag is tucked into cleaner. or the bag cover will not latch securely.
Also, the motor and exhaust filters should be cleaned at each bag replacement.
    REPLACING THE FILTERS
Filters should be cleaned or replaced when they become visibly soiled or suction power is reduced. Always operate the cleaner with the filters installed to avoid motor damage. The dust bag must be changed and the filters cleaned or replaced if the window of the Clean Filter Indicator changes into red when the cleaner is operating at maximum power and the nozzle is raised from the floor.

Our upright Dyson has just stopped working. No

    There are four possibilities:
    1) If in a country that has a fused plug, the fuse in the plug (unlikely). 2) The switch (unlikely). 3) A break inside the cable that you cannot see (quite likely). 3) The motor is shot and needs replacing (very likely).

The lead on our machine is becoming frayed - is it possible to replace the lead and if so, how is it achieved? John Tuffley

If you are refering to the Electrical Power Cord? Yes, this can be easily replaced or repaired.
Depending upon where the cord is damaged, you can either cut it a little shorter and install a replacement electrical plug end (available at any electrical parts store (Lowes, Home Depot, Radio Shack, etc) for about $2.50.
Or if the cord is damaged near the vacuum, you can purchase another cord or even make up one yourself how ever long you want it within reason.
