Emerson as the bluetooth headset?
If it's a bluetooth handsfree then no, you need a Bluetooth USB dongle so you can transfer files from computer to phone.
Hi, the iPhone 3G definitely does work with bluetooth. In fact, I'm talking on a bluetooth headset with my iPhone 3G right now.
You have to put both your Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headsetand the iPhone in "pairing mode".
On your iPhone, click the Menu button, tap the Settings icon, tap the General icon, and then tap the Bluetooth icon. Make sure that 'Bluetooth' is set to "ON" and not "OFF". As long as you have this screen up, your iPhone is in pairing mode.
Turn your Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headset off and wait a few seconds. On your Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headset, press and hold and Answer/End button for Five Seconds, until a solid blue light comes on, which places the device in Bluetooth discoverable mode.
Now that both devices are 'discoverable', the Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headset will show up on that Bluetooth screen on your iPhone. Be patient as it might take a minute to appear. Tap on the Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headsetin the list on your iPhone, and then it will ask you for a passkey. The passkey is "0000" (without the quotes). After you enter the passkey, the Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headset will show up on the list with the word "Paired" next to it.
Now you're paired! Incoming calls will automatically be passed to your headset as long as your iPhone can find it nearby.
Your headset's user guide, with all the informations you need to pair it with your phone, ccan be found on this location. Please, let me know if I can assist you any further.
Yes, IF your computer has Bluetooth software and either a built-in Bluetooth radio or a USB Bluetooth dongle.
If you are running Microsoft Windows, then you have the Bluetooth Stack (software) and just need a radio and driver or a Microsoft USB dongle to activate the stack.
Just got off the phone with Southern Telecom (Emerson's supplier) If you return the unit with a note telling them you need the new model for an I-Phone they will send you a new one.
