I have a GE wr30x10093 icemaker. the Clear works in diagnostic mode but the water does not fill the. On 1st time power applied clear works and water does enter the unit for a short time.

you might have a bad water valve that it wont close since your just repl ice maker then try to repl water valve at back if is leaking then the fill cup will be full of ice and also it will be over filling the ice maker mold

if the water dispenser is working normally and ice is not producing, take thr water filter out rinse it with hot water and put it back, this is the important thing to do after you put the water filter back you must hold the water filter reset button at least 3 seconds to reset the system and it should working fine.

Remove the white plastic cover. Upper right screw sideways with + and - on the head. This is the fill adjustment.

The problem is really that the GE icemaker WR30X10093 has a design flaw - there is a heating element located below the ice cube tray (which heats the tray to get the cubes out), but there is no guard of any sort below the tray. Since there is no guard below that heating element, the element heats ice that has accumulated near the element and starts melting it. Then, when the cubes are popped out, the partially melted ice re-freezes all the cubes together.
I have the same problem. :(
