if your compressor has a reset button its going to be right next to where the power cord goes into the motor , most times there red but not allways , also air compressors use a demand switch as well , there usually is a manual off lever on the side of these , this will interrupt the automatic start feature of the compressor and wont allow it to run , just follow the power plug wire the little "possibly grey " box it comes too is the demand switch

Low unload sump. Would love to help but don't fully understand question. Gas as in air conditioning or refrigeration compressors low pressure (HP/LP) devise can be auto reset or if manual reset, will have a lever or button to push. If it happens often, you will need a refrigeration mechanic.

With an air compressor, make sure there is correct oil and at right level. Unless a big industrial type, there should only be a pressure regulator to control compressor electric motor. Nothing to reset. Good luck

Its your reset button on the compressor that's bad! I have the exact same compressor (EC89) and it did the same thing! Compressor would run great for 15-20 seconds, then trip the reset button. I ordered a new reset button off e-bay, replaced it, and it works fine now. Good overall compressor! but has cheep china electronics installed. just replace the reset button and you will be good to go....cheep fix!!!

To start a compressor you need a start contactor - relay and a capacitor. The click you hear could be from the contactor, which could be normal OR could mean that the contacts are not staying closed which would not allow the compressor to start.

Many compressors have a reset button. Look around for a reset button, if no reset button look around for loose connections.

If this is an I.R compressor the switch should reset itself once you add oil if it dont you may have a bad switch

look for a reset button on the compressor sometimes but not always is red in color but could be black also
