below is a comment posted by robigrave.

"The F3 error is a really dumb mechanical errror of whether the 250 volts is on the elements. It does not involve the computer or the thermostat,or the relay " electronics" at all - it is just simply 3 contacts that supply 250 Volts, and whether or not the contacts work, the elements work,or the fuses work. This the same 250 Volts that is on an ordinary dial stove, and the dumbest part of the whole unit."

"good luck ! Damned the manufacturers for not putting this information in the user manual."

I know what you mean. I was cooking with this appliance tonight and suddenly it displayed an f-3 code. My advantium oven is less than 8 months old. Not sure how this happened or how to fix the problem. In order to sleep tonight (the constant beeping) I had to shut power off at the breaker pannel. Is this representative of the the type of quality that GE stands for???? I am sooo frustrated. I cook with my advantium oven all the time and love the dual abilities of this appliance. Like I said this is brand new and to have the f-3 code which apparently (from what I read) is a failed key pad. I am very dissapointed and am begining to think about pulling my stock from this company!

Hi my whirpool oven is stating F 03 what do i have to do? Thanks

Hello,
Usually the F-03 error code means you have a bad oven tempreture sensor. To test the tempreture sensor you would use a multimeter set to ohms. At room tempreture the sensor should read between 1000-1100 ohms any less then this and you would replace the oven tempreture sensor in the unit. If you have any further questions message me back. Please also remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation it allows me to continue helping others in similar situations in the future. Thanks
Rick
p.s I also looked afterwards in your service manual and the F-03 error code does refer to the oven tempreture sensor

WHIRLPOOL AKR 301 IS FLASHING O3 F Fault code

F-03 code indicates a failure with the temperature sensor. The sensor comes into the oven cavity on the back wall and is a little smaller than a pencil.

The most common reason for this error is a wire connection between the sensor and the control board. Try to measure the sensor with ohm meter, an read about 1080 ohms at room temperature if it is good.

Hope this helps.

My 16 month old whirlpool inegrated oven has a fault code F03 on screen. How can i fix this myself?

Hi,

The F 03 code indicates a failure with the temperature sensor.

The sensor comes into the oven cavity on the back wall and is a little smaller than a pencil. The most common reason for this error is a wire connection between the sensor and the control board.

You can measure the sensor if you have access to a good ohm meter. It should read about 1080 ohms at room temperature if it is good.

The bottom oven isnt working its a prima oven and has the fault F 03 on it , cant find the manual so not sure what code means

F-03 code is a defective temperature sensor.
It is inside the oven on the back wall up high. A thin piece of metal about 3 inches long.
It should unscrew and be removed from inside the oven. A volt meter set for ohms should read 1100 +/- 50 ohms. If more or less ohms replace the sensor.

Error code F1

I had the same problem and found this post:
http://fixitnow.com/wp/2006/03/11/maytag-amana-jenn-air-and-magic-chef-range-f1-codes/

The oven had been cleaned earlier in the day and the touch pad ribbon connector was shorting. I cleaned it with rubbing alchohol and blow dried the whole board for good measure. Hooked everything back up and haven't had a problem since.
