try to clean the heads

download and or install 'vista' driver for the printer..

contact ur system admin/vendor....

there is a vindow vista driver on their website, why dont you try that out, cause windows vista and windows 7 should not give you any compatibility issue

Hi,

Try a couple of steps :-
1.Make sure the wire is plugged in and printer is turned on
2.Go to control panel - printers - make sure the printer is set to default.
If the above steps are done, try the following :--

Open control panel - go to add/remove programs - uninstall everything that says Lexmark 5270

your printer driver is not vista supported or motherboard driver is not properly instaled

I recently had all the lexmark 5270 software erased from my hard drive and now my computer doesn't recognize my printer.Is there a cite that I can go to download the software?
