Trio Stealth G2 HYpe tablet will not connect to wifi. Had been working but now can't get the wifi to turn on.

Is wifi turned on on the tablet? If not, go to Settings>Wifi and turn it on. The device should then automatically scan for networks.

If you are able to connect to your network but then cannot actually get to the Internet you may just need to restart your router. You might get something like "Obtaining IP address" for a long time and then get "Limited" connection. Correcting this may be just a matter of unplugging it for about a minute then plug it back in. Wait 4-5 minutes for the router to boot up completely then try connecting again. Some routers are sensitive to new devices. When I had AT&T Uverse router I would have to restart it every time I tried to add a new wifi device.

Have you tried my old trick of pressing the on/off button and at the same time, press the volume+ button. Sounds like you have a screen freeze. hope it helps.

My daughters tablet did the same thing. After we had it for about 2 weeks. Called Trio tech support. Ended up having to send it to them and they sent me a new one.

I would guess your wifi broke.. but you can always ... try wifi elsewhere to verify... if it works then you need to manually connect to your wifi... I would attempt to get your Ip off the working one and copy the same IP and DNS for your wifi... since it's a tablet I would just reset it to factory settings if it just is stuck... you can back up your files VIA google or BUMP app

I've tied finding an answer. Nothing works. Get a new one, or if you still have a warranty, get it fixed

G0 into settings..then go to wireless network . you should see wi-fi slide the bar to ON. make sure the airplane mode is in OFF

then at the top on right..you should see SCAN.. RUN THIS AND FIND YOUR NETWORK..HIT ADD AND GO FROM THERE
