Sanyo tv ds25030 how to program chanals 48-96

Your TV must be set in cable mode for channels higher than 69, and your cable provider must allow those channels to be received without a cable box. Menu, Channels, switch air to cable, run auto scan. If it receiving those channels unencrypted, it will find those channels.

Lost remote for vr-2218. Trying to do auto channel scan--says to hit ENTER, but without remote, can't do ENTER. I have FIOS, but Verizon remote won't program TV. Any idea what code may be?

Codes listed in my manual for White Westinghouse are 0169 or 0003 or 0014 or 0043. Are yousure though there isn't a flip down panel somewhere which gives you the option to access "enter"

I do not know how to do a channel scan, can you help me please? I seriously thought that I could find anything online but I have not been able to find how to channel scan this tv.

What brand/model TV do you have? If the TV has several input options, make sure that the TV is set to the TV mode. (Use the Input or Source button on the remote, some TVs have this on the TV as well but not always)

Some can only do a channel scan with the original remote. My old Emerson CRT (~20 years old) launched a channel scan when I pressed the Add and Delete Channel buttons together on the remote. Fortunately even when most of the buttons failed on that remote, the channel scan still launched.

Other TVs from that time frame have an channel scan button in the control panel. Often these are hidden behind a panel to avoid accidental resets.

More modern TVs usually have the scan as part of the menu. Depending on the TV, press Menu on the remote (or if available on the TV (sometimes can be done by pressing Ch+/Ch- together)). Then look for a Setup option or a TV icon. If you have a Setup menu, you will then need to go to the TV submenu. Then find the option for setting the input signal (TV/cable) and then you should be able to launch a channel scan. (Usually the Ch+/Ch- (up/down) and Vol+/Vol- (left/right) buttons will navigate through the menus.)

Unfortunately, without the make and model, I can't give you any more help. Please write back with your brand of TV and I'll check if I have the manual in my stack.

(low end universal remotes do not always include the menu or source button. If your TV doesn't have them, you may need a different remote. The ones that can be programmed via a USB connection are the easiest to set up.)

How can I program my remote with scan

Hello

In the CBL/SAT or TV mode, use the FAV key to start a 3-second scan of all

channels.Or, if programmed, use the FAV key to scan only your favorite
channels to view a desired channel

Press CBL/SAT or TV once.

Press FAV once.

• IfFavorite Channel Scan has been set up, scanning of

favorite channels will start with up to 100 channel changes
or until stopped by pressing any key.

IfFavorite Channel Scan has not been set up, scanning

will start with the current channel, and continue up to
100 channel changes or until stopped by pressing any key.

To stop scanning channels at any time, press any key
once.

Cant change channels with remote or side of tv - sound works fine . stuck on espn - no other channels work (i quess being stuck on espn is fine but this is an office tv for thr girls while they are eating...

Your TV is most likely locked to that station because it doesn't have any other channels programmed in.

In the menu for the TV, run a channel scan. This will take probably 30-45 minutes for most TVs and will program the available channels into the TV so that they become available.

Can i access my digital channels on cabel without a box? I dont want to have to type in sub numbers, can my remote be programed for that?

Local digital channels should be available from the cable TV line from the wall. Your TV has to have a digital tuner. You can do a channel set-up scan with the TV. Then do channel up and down or channel # access to get to desired channel.
