Dryer will not start. Error code CL. Filter is clean.

CL is 'Child Lock'.

A CL code or CHILD/CONTROL LOCK reading on the dryer's display is not actually an error code, but rather an indication that the Child/Control Lock feature is active. For most models, press and hold the key labeled CHILD LOCK (secondary function) for 3 seconds to disable the Child Lock feature.

I can't find anything online about error code CL9. Even the owner's manual does not list that error code.

My dle2514W LG electric dryer is displaying a CL code (Child Lock) and the check filter light is flickering. Clothes are also coming out with static cling (never was a problem until now). I have cleaned...

My dryer had this same problem. I cleared it by unplugging the dryer from the wall for 20 seconds and then plugging it back in. After this "reset" of the electronics, it has functioned for 2 days without a problem.
