Oven cannot plug in existing wall plug in maytag double oven range

a number of solutions for your problem a little smaller better then a little larger, iv seen depending on surrounding cabinetry, either wood fill strips, lexan(plastic) strip added as a filler. depending on what the installation guide recommends for opening , that is all that would be required what you fill if with will be a purely asthetic choice

I had a similar problem on the MEW6630 CAS and I replaced the Electronic Clock Assembly (refurbished $146) and now I can see the light. It did not fix the other problem that I had with the F7 code.

The ignitors/burners need to be cleaned properly.
Build up of grease, dirt, rust, mineral deposits, etc can cause improper gas flow resulting in a delayed ignition. That causes a build up of gas and the delayed ignition ignites it all at once, and you have your WHOOMP mini explosion.

Hello Jim,
Can you clarify the problem you're having, or how the temperature control issue manifest's itself, i.e. can't set temp in display, too hot, too cool, won't ignite etc.
Just some clarity to move you further, hope I can assist further.
thank you
