HOw to reset E7 error code on Trojan Treadmill

This error code is referring to the Safety Key that magnets to the front of the main console. Remove the key, clean the contacts on the key and where it connects to the console. Refit the key and make sure it is positioned correctly. Check to see if this has cleared the error code.

The E7 code means the potentiometer value the console is reading from the lift motor is out of range. This can happen when there is a bad wire harness connection or a damaged wire harness. It could also just mean the incline motor needs to be adjusted back into range.Jun 30, 2021

1. Turn the power OFF, wait 5-seconds and turn back ON.
2. Get into test mode and enter through the I/O testing step. ...

To fix the error you have to put the safety key in start it it and wait for it to say E7. Now press stop and incline( up) together and hold for 20 seconds. Your treadmill will start to incline up. Take out your safety key. You just restarted your treadmill and can now put the safety key back and your problem will be fixed.

I tested the elevations motor to see if it had a short. In doing so the motor reset itself and the treadmill went on performing as normal. I had to refer to the repair manual provided by BH on their website and found what the error code E7 meant.
