SOURCE: Onkyo TX-DS575 - intermittent audio

You have a problem that was inherent with all Onkyo receivers from this period. You need to contact Onkyo because the microprocessor needs to be replaced. Last I checked, its about $80 from onkyo.

This is NOT an isolated incident as darn near every Onkyo receiver model had this problem.

Good luck...

Amazon.com, MyRemoteControls.com, and Remotes.com all sell a replacement remote for the TX-DS575. I have also seen the Onkyo TS-DS575 receiver with remote listed on eBay for as low as $35. Keep looking; the remotes are out there.

How to you change an ac fuse in an onkyo ds575

Remove the top covers after the mains power was disconnected. Now check on the rear panel left corner for the fuses. Remove them and test using a multimeter in the continuity range. replace only with the correct rating and if this blows off the set has a short within and an isolation test will confirm the stage. check with the secondary voltage and check the outputs.

TX-DS575 reciever

Normally you hear a clicking sound coming from the inside when you turn on your amp. That's the sound of the magnetic circuit breaker (switch). If you tap your amp to turn it on, and if the amp gets turned on after you did it:), then I suppose the problem is on the relevant switch.
