I need to charge bigfoot without the charger. How do I do that?

Without the charger the batteries would go dead. You could put a voltmeter across the batteries and you should read more than 28 VDC while charging.

I know you can get these on Ebay. Also most NI-MH 9 volt battery charges will charge this battery pack. You can use a 9 Volt Snap Battery Connector with Alligator Clips to bridge the connection between the battery pack and the NI-MH 9 volt batter charger. This is how I charge this battery pack now. You can probably get the 9 Volt Snap Battery Connector with Alligator Clips at a radio shack or on Amazon... as well as a NI-MH 9 volt battery charger.. don't hook up the leads backwards :)

You may find it easily at a Radio Shack type of store -- here are the specs to ask for:

Input 120 VAC, 60 Hz, 0.3 A, Output 8.4 VDC, 300 mA, 2.5 VA

Take the rechargeable battery with you, though! You'll need to be sure you get one with the right connector. If you can't find it locally, you may be able to order it through Fisher-Price, Amazon, or eBay.

Try removing the battery from the laptop, then try the charger. If the laptop powers on without the battery, but will not power on with the battery installed, then the battery is in need of replacement.
If the laptop does not power on with or without the battery, you need to find another power supply to test the laptop. Many computer repair shops will assist you with testing this.

We just got one yesterday and its doing the same thing. We charged the battery all day yesterday...it Finally turned green and still does the beep 3 times and nothing else. So i put it back on the charger and now the light has been red for the past 4 hrs...not sure why it would still need to charge for so long when we haven't even gotten to play w/ him??? Play let me know if u find a solution. Huge bummer for my son.

i would suggest trying to find what the issue is, if you know anyone who has a different charger, try it on your daughter's ds. if it still doesn't work, it's a DS problem...if it's under warranty, go to whatever store you bought it at and have them fix or replace it. If you try the different charger and it DOES work, then the only problem is the charger...so then all you have to do is go buy a new charger...hope this helps.

Go buy a new charger cuz most likely the battery is dead, there is no other way to turn on a ds without power

I have the same camera. I don't think you can charge the battery without the dock, unless you find a separate charger for the Lithium battery it comes with. It's a Lenmar 3.7V/700mAh type battery. I looket it up on radioshack. I lost my charger RCA jack power chord. I am trying to find a new one. If you have any luck, post an answer.
