You need to make sure the new belkin adaptor has the same settings as the router you are using. If you set a password on your router then you need to set a password the same on your new adaptor.

Put all your settings back to the way they were and check the time and date on your computer (also on the router), WPA uses encryption, if the time difference between the two is too great it can break the encryption (seen this often).

Connection problems

1.Visit: www.belkin.com/support
2. On the top right corner, there will be a search by keyword, a small rectangular blue box
3. In that, type in: F5D7050 and press enter
4. It will give you search results, select the result that says "Drivers".
5. Select the appropriate version for your model. Belkin has 5 versions for the same model. Check for FCC no. on your device. There would be a table on that web page.
6. Verify, download and install

It's very hard to find a disc for devices but you can download the drivers for your device. Go to www.belkin.com/support

I have been to that site and was able to find a driver for my belkin wireless notebook adapter.

Belkin Wireless G USB Network adapter F5D7050

your wep key is wrong
go to a pc thats hardwired to that router and u need to type in browser 192.168.1.1 if its linksys, if its belkin or either brands the second to last digit changes e.g. 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.2.1 u need the default password and check wireless settings.. security.. wep key 1 copy it and use that to connect.
