There are many reasons why band saw make noise. Here's are some "few checks" to do
1. Run the band saw without blade.
2. Run with a different blade.
3. Run the motor alone.
4. Check the bearings.
Another thing; incorrect speeds and feeds can cause noise and vibration.
Regarding about opening the motor, I can't help you with that. Try to check any other band saw motor manual reference.
I have Trajan 7x12 band saw, no vibration or noisy at all, I use Haltbar blade from sawblade.com
There are few reasons why blade jumps off, you may have a poor weld on the blade. Tension could be too tight or too loose. Make sure that the blade tracks properly. I advise you to watch videos about tuning up a band saw or check some informative blogs on bandsawblog.com. I purchased my blades on sawblade.com , check them out if you need any.
Open the case and look for stray wood pieces. Check the bearings for both wheels. Check the mounting of the lower wheel to it's shaft. Operate the saw by hand until the problem is fixed. Good luck!
Go to Dewaltservicenet.com and in the middle of the page at the bottom type in your model number and it will take you to a download. The manual is 46 pages long, I had to click on the icon 2 times for it to open. If I have answered your request would you please rate the response accordingly and Thank You.
