How to remove a yellow vertcial line on screen of sylvania tv model LC195SL8

The problem is vertical failure. Vertical output section to your TV ahs the fault. You ahve to check the vertcial output circuit for any component failure or loose solderings.

The closest thing that appears to be available for that TV is the data sheet.

look in the comcast remote guide and find your tv code. there should be directions in the guide that tell you how to program it. if not call your local comcast provider and they should be able to walk you thru it.

To program a TV you can use the code search option. You do this by making sure the TV is turned on then point the remote at the TV then press the TV button once, then press and hold down the set button until you see the RED l.e.d light blink twice, then enter the code 991. Next press the power button then the TV button continue doing that until the TV turn off, when it does press the set button. Press the power button and the TV should turn on again.

I have a Sylvania LC427SSX and can not get the remote to work with the codes given by comcast. Does anyone know the correct code?

Yep me three. I just got a 2008 new Sylvania LCD and my remote will not work either.

USE a VCR between the PS2 and the Sylvania TV.  Hook the PS2 A/V cable RCA connectors( Red, Yellow, White) to one of the the Video input RCA connectors( Yellow, Red, White) on the VCR. Hook the VCR Cable output to your Sylvania Cable input. Set the Sylvania Tv to channel 3 or 4.  Set the VCR channel to Line 1 or Line 2.  This should work. I hope it helps you.
