SOURCE: whirlpool oven accubake system

I have a whirlpool accubake wall oven. Half-way through baking a pie ,unknown to me, the oven went to the self-clean mode , the door locked and the pie started to burn. I tried to turn the oven off but it would not cut off. I immediately ran to the house's main power and turned off the oven breaker. I waited for a short time to let the oven cool enough to open the door and get the burned pie out, then went back to turn my breaker back on and the oven (even though in the off mode) started heating again with the bottom unit turning red again. I had to then go back and pull the power. We tried this several times trying to push the off button but the oven will not go off until we throw the breaker. Help please!

E6 F2 Fault Code on left side Display panel of Whirlpool Accubake Upper oven. There is No Cancel Button on the Display Key pad. Double oven unit has just been cutting off in middle of Bake Cycle.

this is usually a problem with the keypad, most techs would say to replace the keypad, if that doesnt solve it, the main board will need to be replaced. make sure your connectors are tight if you decide to kill power and replace the keypad

What does f5 mean on a whirlpool accubake oven?

It either means that the door lock is bad or there is a stuck key on the touch pad.
