The shutter on my camera wont open ? What can I do

if your cam fell down the shutter control will become faulty, if so must open the cam section and carryout a repair is suggested.

Oky there is small spring inside.check that,another thing it could be inter lock with shutter.may it over lapping each other

Possible that you gat a slow shutter speed. Or your camera might be getting faulty. When the shutter gets damaged then the blurry focus wont change unless its fixed. The four main causes of blurry photos are:

1. Out Of Focus
2. The subject moves while the shutter is open
3. The camera moves while the shutter is open
4. Depth Of Field is too shallow

Unless its just technical or hardware you will need to visit a technician. or replace the Shutter.

Try resetting the camera by removing the battery for 20 mins. then replace the battery go to the camera's menu and set the Date and Time.

Try setting the shutter to B and see if you can trip the shutter. If no go then it has mechanical problem. If it works on B but not on other shutter speeds, you have electronic problems.

Do you mean the lens cover on the end of the lens Is not opening properly, or the shutter inside the lens?

it won't open if the it is set to "preview" mode...just check or else it's stuck

i have a hp photosmart m525 and the shutter wont open i am able to reveiw my pictures but am unable to take any pictures is there anything i can do about it?

Hi , check everything set c amera speed to 60/seconds auto or manual / check also the the camera shutter blade , open the lense and close to activate the shutter blade .

F4 has an electronic shutter so check batteries ( see enclosed image ). If your batteries are fresh but still no power ( see if display comes on in view finder ) clean contacts in the battery holder. If still no joy camera should go in.
