try password factory setting password 4321.
make sure you push the "STOP" button on your remote first

Just talked to Samsung regarding Reset procedure. Simple: Press CH2 and Alarm buttons on receiver at same time for 10 seconds. It will reset to factory.

This seems to happen to a lot of then Either the Inverter Board is bad or the power supply board is bad. Good luck getting it fixed. Samsung seems not to even think they made them.
I emailed all over trying to get mine fixed with no luck. Do you mean the 7 day of recording,this will record til the day you turned it off YES!! even with the screen black it records DO THIS!!!
First... On the back of the monitor look for VIDEO OUT Its down near the Camera wires
Do you have a set of VIDEO and AUDIO cables there red, white,&yellow????
Get a 19'' tv with video and audio INPUTs NOW!! with the RED cable hook it to the Monitor Video out and the other red end to the tv Video in Just the RED ONE don't worry about white or yellow.
NOW turn the Security Monitor ON , NOW the TV let them warm up The tv must be in Video1 or
Video 2 ---NOW YOU SHOULD SEE THE CAMERA's or the screen POINT the remote at the monitor to do things like menu, search. Sorry I'm not to good at explaining things THIS Should work GOOD LUCK
