We have a black & Decker toaster oven model # TO 6335 we can't get the temp to go up any higher then 232 degrees.

If I have the model number correct ... that is a fairly deep oven that has multiple heating elements. One of your elements may have died, resulting in lower temperatures.

Had toaster oven for about 4 years, and all of a sudden the top elements do not work, (broil) can I purchase replacement for it?

Replacement heating elements are not available generally (and it is impossible to open the unit) because the lawyers told them it is too risky.

Sorry.

My toaster oven stopped heating all together.

your heating element has gone bad or there is some bad wiring in the oven itself

to check open up the toaster oven and look at the wires coming from the heating elements inside to the timer on the front panel if there is no bad wiring then the heating elements are bad and the toaster oven needs to be replaced

Lower heating eliments don't heat or glow. Only top ones work

The elements are not orderable, but you can call Cuisinart with your serial number - the product has a 3-year warranty, and that is definitely a defect - will they glow if you put them on Toaster setting?

Toaster does not work!!!

I investigated further (took it apart again to satisfy my curiosity) and it appears that one of the top heating elements (the front one) is open (burnt out). I cannot see an easy way to replace it (contacts are spot welded) and I can't find a place to buy the element. If I could it probably won't be worth it since a new oven costs $25 at Target (B&D TR0490W). Too bad since the oven looks like new. I assume the upper elements burn out more frequently because heat rises from the lower elements and adds extra heat at the top.

Lower Heating element will not turn on

take notice of the local repairers
if they say parts are hard to come by , a DIY will have even more trouble
junk it and get a new one

Heating elements

I think this is a common problem with these kind of toaster ovens. Mine isn't a Toastmaster - mine is Cook's Essentials (from QVC), and my upper elements have also warped and split, although mine are curved downwards.
