Washer sometimes leaves clothes sopping wet - then the next day O

We have Kenmore super capacity 3.5 Quiet Tumble Action Washer
(970-045092-00)

We have not changed any of our washing habits or detergents - but everything works great until the final spin - it sometimes does not spin enough to get the water out of the clothes. They are sometimes sopping wet. We've tried the extra spin but it will stop well before the 13 minutes are up. Is there any filter that needs to be unclogged - or what???? - it's troublesome/ Thanks

Did the solution work to look in the coin trap? I have taken the panel off and squeezed the black reservoir in front of the pump but do not feel anything blocking the pump. This only happens on occasion and like you, the spin cycle quits well before it should. If this solution did not work, what did you find that worked?

You can remove the bottom access panel to get to the drain pump. there might be something in the coin trap.

everything is possible. you would hope he wouldn't do that. my wife screams at me every time i leave tools, pens, etc. in my pockets before she washes my clothes. you might have got something else transfered from your pockets into drain pump again. i would check your self before calling for tech

take out quarter inch screws at the bottom of the access panel. (bottom front) panel will remove with slight tug. drain pump should be right there in front kind of towards the right hand side. unscrew the cap. watch for water coming out. grab a towel before you take out coin trap

I have a Kennmore super capacity 3.5 quiet tumble, action wash, easy access washer. The problem is, it won't do the spin cycle and clothes are coming out wet. I looked at the tech sheet and it says to check...

You might want to check the plumbing in the bottom of the machine for clogs. On most modern washers, the spin cycle will not start if the water is not completely drained or doesn't drain fast enough. I had a similar problem and found a there was a rubber fitting with a plastic cup inside that serves as a trap to prevent debris from entering the pump. It had a piece of scotchbrite, forty cents worth of change and a hairpin stuck in it.

Kenmore washer 3.5 super capacity. Machine spins

It sounds like your tub bearing is bad or going bad. It could be the adjustment on your spin cycle. Does your unit allow you to adjust this. Also are you overloading. Can you send me the brand and model of your unit and I help you more.
