install the nav desk software to you p.c and connect the navman to the pc via the usb cable.
You will be prompted that a map upgrade is available through the NavDesk software. Once the unit has synchronized with the NavDesk software you will be informed that a later map is available. Once you select the map data, it will begin to download to your computer.

I have installed the original files from my cd that came with the device ,I found the file to connect directly to navman webside and under file I clicked on key recovery then i downloaded Nz maps .
now my GPS is working normally
I'm in Australia, so if you're not you will need to go to the navman website and select your country, then find the update. The update is done through the NavDesk software I think.
Hi, my probelm is very similar I turn it on and it shows a laptop, usb connection and the navman with a usb cable connecting them together,it also has circle running back an fourth
