Craftsman weedwacker model #358797150 will not pick up fuel

Have you checked the fuel filter and made sure it is not plugged. Make sure the primer bulb is not cracked or leaking pressure. If you have then I would be sure the fuel cap is not bad. To check the cap you should be able to put the cap on the tank pump the primer button to build pressure in the tank and then turn the cap a turn or so and hear the pressure release. If that is all ok then I would think the diaphragm in the carb is bad and the carb needs to be rebuilt.

Craftsman 25 cc Weedwacker

Look for air leaks in the gas line and around the carb , a bad gas cap will not let any pressure build up. It could be that too. Check also the fuel line and filter inside the tank. replace if needed.

Weedwacker won't start

Is there an air lock in the line. Remove the lines and insert only one at a time and see if one will take fuel and the other none? Also, check carb float to make sure its not stuck open intaking fuel constantly flooding bowl

I have a craftmens 25 cc weedwacker thats about 3

it sounds like your carb is out of adjustment and you need to adjust it. Look at the carb on your weedwacker, there is an idle adjustment screw somewhere on it and using either phillips or strait screw head and then carefully turning it clockwise go 1/8 of a turn at a time until the engine idles smoothly.

Craftsman weedwacker keeps dying

If the weedwacker runs OK on 1/2 choke or even better on full choke then most likely the cause is the carb gaskets are stiff and can no longer pump the fuel. Of course make sure the fuel lines are are the right ports (return and supply). While you have the carb apart clean all of the passages with carb cleaner.
