Hi Bronwen,
You might want to double check if there is cable loose or not connected to the right slot ( on the back of tv and pvr ).If still not work check the input lists and check one by one and there should be one of them is the right input. Hope it helps.
Hi. We have the Pvr 2 U and none of the above worked. What we eventually figured out was to hold the TV/audio button on booting for about a minute. The TV screen will go black, continue holding the TV/audio button until the the dstv logo comes up. Now use the remote and click menu. Go to advanced options and network settings and wait for it to rescan the channels. Hope this helps

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive
Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA
the leads from your((motherboard to your hard drive))make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer errorif this fails to fix the problem another possible reason could be a memory dump you might be running to many programs at the one time placing to much strain on the CPU also you might not have enough RAM random access memory to check what is running when your computer is running scroll to the bottom toolbar right click select task manager applications and processes if you see something you dont need running select end now to check how much ram you have click start right click on my computer select properties you will see all of your computers detailsanother way to check how much RAM you have click start all programs accessories system tools system imformation all of your computers imformation will be theretry uninstalling a few unnecessary programs then click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will scan for and attempt to fix any bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive this will schedule on a restart don
Hi, I think there is a section in the LG manual that gives codes.I'm
not 100% but I remember i had a LG 42pg6900 and that gave codes.
I hope this helps. http://dl.owneriq.net/d/de5479aa-c05a-4234-e951-03e0026c75b7.pdf you want page 64. What make is your pvr. I will try and help further.
The dL error code is a door lock error. The control board will attempt 6 times to lock the door before displaying the F dL error code. This is an indication that either the door lock is malfunctioning or the control board is not responding to the door locking circuit.
Be sure the door is securely closed before attempting to start the washer. Open the door & check for clothing or something that may be stuck in the door boot area. If the door is securely closed & you still have the error code I would recommend having the door lock assembly replaced.
if the hard drive is new and not formatted , there will be no operating system for the computer to go past the bios start up
what you will have to do is to get into the bios , select boot preference and select cd as first preference
load an operating system( example win 8) and let the unit boot from the disc
after that has properly installed ,shut down the unit , restart and get the bios back up and change boot preference to hard drive
from then on it should start and boot from the program on the hard drive
Unplug the aerial; switch the PVR On; if you have control via the remote do a reset to default settings thus:
1. press Menu on the remote
2. select Installation and enter default password of 0000 unless you have changed it
3. select Default settings and okay on YES
4. then turn if off again via the remote
5. plug the aerial back in and it will scan for channels, save them of course.
I got help on this from other forums but saw your request for help. This worked for me.
