Has code e66 and says door open when it is not.
Hello Friend, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
I see that you would like to know the pricing of a replacement control board for your Frigidaire dryer. May I please have your model number? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located on upper front as you open the door. With this information I can better address the issue at hand.
In the meantime, error code E66 is associated with the heating element relay. A technician would typically check the ohm resistance of the relay to determine if it is the cause of the error code. If the readings are incorrect, the heating element more than likely needs replacing. If the readings are incorrect, it could potentially be the main control board. This is not a normal DIY job so you may want to connect with a local technician to determine the exact diagnosis. I hope this helps! - Z

It could be the door is coming open just enough to trigger the switch to the off position. Even though the door looks closed it could be partially open. Most likely the clips that hold the door shut are not tight enough that when the clothes hit the door it pops open a little bit. These clips are basically springs and over time they loosen up.

Hello samanthaway - Error code E66 indicates that the thermal limiter circuit is open. Base on the intensity of the issue, I suggest contacting a professional technician to accurately repair the unit. Technician will need to check the inlet or outlet thermal limiter for continuity. If the thermal limiter is open, tech will need to check for evidence of high temperature event and any resulting damage. If no further damage is evident, the thermal limited and retest will need to be replaced.
