My dell 962 prints, but documents have dark horizontal lines across the page from top to bottom

Wondering if this is a hardware issue? it doesn't seem to copy either.

Everytime my notebook gets started up it freezes about 45 seconds later

It seems alot of people have had similar issues with these PC's.
Sounds like it could be a virus or registry error. But could also be a hardware error. Does the machine run hot? If so, try cleaning the vents and running it on a hard, flat surface. If that doesn't work I would try running an anti virus and/or anti malware program (in safe mode if that's on option) If that doesn't find anything, then you could try reinstalling the O/S.
Is there a recovery partition on the hard drive?
If none of the above works, then it is probably a hardware issue, hard drive or RAM error, something like that.

Copied cds always skip on axis9s pissing me of even when i dont fill the disk up also now my orginal cds are skipping even though cds are brand new is there a any way i can solve this

Get a laser lens cleaner - the kind with optical quality brushes built in to the disk. If that doesn't do it, it's a more serious hardware issue and will require service or replacement.

My computer simply crashes for no apparent reason. Sometimes it doesn't happe for 3 days, sometimes it happens twice a day. It doesn't seem connected to anything I do with the computer; it can...

Did u started getting the problem after changing any hardware like mother board?
If so then the problem might be with your motherboard or the hardware because hardware conflicts cause the computer to crash.

I have a similar problem to one I see listed earlier...I have trouble starting my '95 Mustang GT in the morning or after sitting for any length of time. Once it does start...it seems to work all...

pull off your starter and have it tested at your local auto parts store while cold... you may have a weak solenoid or some corrosion on the starter ring gear shaft.

Scanner seems to not be aligned properly. Documents are cut off, or wrong size.

Scanners are pretty much impossible to fix yourself, if they're experiencing hardware issues. Try making sure you have the latest software and firmware updates for your computer as well as your scanner/printer. If it still doesn't work, it's time to call Brother - it likely needs to be shipped for service.

Scan does not respond, the printer works but the scanning does not seem to work and no scanner appears on control panel.

Please check whether the unit make stand alone copies fine. If the unit does not copies fine then this is a hardware issue with the scanning mechanism of the unit and unit needs a replacement. If the unit copies fine, then please get back to me, we will chek the software part.

Pretty much the same issue except mine worked for about 2 months

USB is sometimes seems strange; once a device is found by the device manager, it does not repeat the 'new hardware found' routines UNLESS it is plugged into a different USB port. You can go through Control Panel to the System manager, and delete the USB device from the hardware list. Then plugging it back int will trigger the hardware manager to re-initialize it.

Computer can't find sound device

START - My Computer (RIGHT CLICK) - Properties - Hardware Tab - Device Manager button - click on the sound, video and game controllers - on the drop down menu you should see sound codec - either right click and UPDATE DRIVER - or delete sound codec’s and restart, XP will install suitable sound drivers.
If that doesn’t work then try installing sound drivers from the computer manufacturer.
If you have a big X on the sound codec or your third party drivers than it’s a hardware issue.
If replacing the drivers’ doesn’t work then it's a hardware issue. If you have onboard sound card then you will need to replace the mother board. I hope it's under warranty.
