Jazzy wheelchair scooter 1450. Why does it go crazy with flashing (charging lights)?

Hi Emilee,
The lights flashing crazy, may mean you have locked out joystick. to unlock, try first, turn on joystick and push horn button twice right away. if that did not work, try turn on and push lever forward all the way wait until it beeps, then back all the way until it beeps again. that should do it. If not then count how many lights are blinking and how many times it blinks. consult owners manual trouble shooting guide for answer, or call 800-800-8586 Jazzy tech

How do I replace the throttle potentiometer and what s the approximate cost?

You would need to remove both covers top and bottom of the console holding the throttle pot. Typically, there are 4 or six screws holding the covers. The throttle pot is attached with 2 screws and has 1 electrical plug. The throttle lever on the end of the throttle pot shaft usually is held on with 2 Allen wrench set screws.
Before replacing the part it can be tested using a digital voltmeter.(procedure is described elsewhere).
Obtain the correct replacement part by searching by Model and serial number and part description. The manufacturer website is a good starting point for parts

My Jazzy Select makes a clicking noise as I drive my chair. It seems to occur on a regular cycle. What is causing this?

I fixed this problem; I pulled the wheel and removed the axle nut and sprayed penetrating lube around the axle and put it back together- problem fixed... I also took the rim apart and sprayed rust preventive on the inside of both wheel halves because water can get in there from washing the dog stuff off the wheels (yeah you know). I wanted to pull the hub and have a look but it must take a puller because tapping on it with a brass hammer did nothing. So make sure the axle nut is tight...Jazzy 1450 but should be the same on others...

Wiring Diagram Pride Jazzy 1120

mso 9]> Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 mso 9]> mso 10]> /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} There are two levers just under the seat at the front. Pull the forward and to right to lock position, which will release the gear so that the wheelchair can be move about without any electric power. Bear in mind though that releases the gear, still too heavy to push as normal wheelchair. Give a go, to find out for yourself.
