The fill switch may be contaminated with soap or debris that makes it heavier and makes it float lower in the water which means more water is required to trip it. Try moving it manually and see if it is hard to move at the top of its travel.

SOURCE: water leaking out of bottom of door

There is a rubber seal that runs along the bottom of the door. If you carefully run your hand along there just to see if it is all even. Sometimes they get out of place and you can push it back and then closing the door it realigns itself and all is good. If the seal is damaged, you have to replace the door liner as the seal is attached.

Could be 1 of 2 things.

1: Open door and look for any" Obstruction" Between the Door Seal and the Dishwasher.

2: the Seal is Warped from General useage or, twisted.

hope that helps

SOURCE: door leaks

I had the same problem last night. I had the Outer Door Panel off trying to solve why our machine does not operate all the time.
There is a seal under the air Vent Cover that is inside of the door on the left hand side. This Vent Cover attaches to the air fan ducting. The Vent Cover unscrews (counterclock wise). I put plumber's putty between the seal and Door Panel. Tighten the Vent with the large opening down for draining. Seems to work for me.

I later found a bent lower door seal - next thing to try and fix.

SOURCE: Water dripping out of door vent in lower left side

This is being caused by the vent tube design. The lower fitting is pushed up into the upper fitting so water leaks out from the top. The fittings are designed backwards. Remove front door panel and their will be a white tube running down the side. That tube is pushed up into its mate. Pull it down and silacone calk all around the out side of that pieces and the inside of the upper piece. put them back together and then tape it with some duck tape. DO NOT US FOR AT LEAST 24 hrs.

LG dishwasher leaking out the bottom of the door. It's that gasket that runs along the inside bottom of the door. How do you keep it in place? It keeps pushing in and then floods my kitchen.

My dishwasher was doing the same thing, but it was because of a clogged vent. The minerals in the water built up to a point that it was totally blocked and since it couldnt vent, the water ran down the inside of the door and leaked out the bottom. I just popped the vent cover off of the inside of the door and cleaned it out and it stopped leaking.

LG Dishwasher LDS5811bb. Water is leaking out

The dishwasher may not be levle side to side and front to back.
Se the installation instructions or go www.lgusa.com
they may have the instructions on line.

This will cause leakage at the door.

If the leak is @ the bottom left it may be from the drying vent assembly.
The vent would need to be replaced with an updated vent assy.

Door leaks

This dishwasher has a vent at the bottom left of the door that blows out hot moist air during the drying cycle. Are you sure that you are not getting condensation build up from this vented air that is dripping on your floor?

Dishwasher leak

With dishwasher empty and disconnected, find the screws around the area of the "vent",you may need to open it from the bottom. There will be a hose that has either ruptured or just needs the clamp tightened with a screw driver. I think that the hose is a drain or water return. Should be an easy fix.

Water Leak at vent area in door...

On this model the vent is open and shut by a wax motor. The vent should be closed tight during the entire wash cycle and the first 6 minutes of the drying cycle. Check the operation, make sure there is not a bunch of gunk restricting it. If you are handy with a meter check the resistance of the motor. It should read approx. 2100ohms. Another reason for leaking at the base is oversudzing. Also check the upper spray arm for cracks or splits shooting water into the vent area. Catriver...post back.

Door leak

Br, couple of things you can look for here. Check the vent, you can just pop this out. Sometimes there is a buildup of gunk which will hold water during wash and leak down between the door. There is a seal there, part number 974782. Another thing is to check the upper spray arm for cracks or splitting. This can send a direct flow of water into the vent. There is also a seal at the bottom of the upper spray arm, part number 3376846. I was fooled by a leak like this once, it turned out to be a clogged vent...Catriver..post back.
