My hd 3 v5061u is on test mode how do i get it off

With your camcorder powered ON, and set to VCR / playback, there should show on the screen (viewer) something indicating "Menu" or a "FN" (Function) option. Select "Menu" (or Function icon to lead to the Menu). Check through the Menu options to find "Mode", and find the option for Normal Recording or playback, as opposed to "Test Mode", or "Demonstration Mode".

If this does not solve the problem, try this: Turn the camera OFF, remove camera battery, re-install battery, turn camera ON and see if that Re-set the camera. If not, it might be resolved by manually resetting the time and date. Then go to the Menu again to set Mode to normal recording or playback.

If those do not correct the problem, there is no shame in calling the camera company to speak with Tech-services. That's what they are there for.

Internal memory full - how do I find it? Ann

If you do not have a memory card inserted, the camera defaults to the internal memory, both in shooting and playback modes. You can transfer from internal to a card using the "copy" function from the playback menu. The internal memory can be erased from the playback menu using the format function in the "setup" menu. Don't erase (format) until you are sure the images are stored safely elsewhere.

No Sound

The camcorder may be in what may be called "narration mode." This function mutes the playback audio so you can narrate with you own voice when playing tapes back. Check for a function like this in the playback sound menu.
