If you have lost it then you can re download it using the link above,
If you want to re-format your computer you can use the ALT and the F10 button which will start the acer recovery to get to this please turn off your computer
and then turn it back on holding the ALT button down and tapping the F10 button constantly this will activate the recovery and re set your computer to how you first got it,

Depends if you completed a Full Format on acer systems they have a back-up partition that contains a complete image of your hard drive that gets left un-touched the way to access this is by pressing ALT button and tapping the F10 button as soon as you turn it on keep on tapping the F10 button until you hear a constant beeping which means the buffer is full, if your computer has kept this partial it will tell you the process you need to do "on screen instructions"
If your computer does not have this then you will need to either use a wired connection and downloading the drivers directly using this link http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html
on some cases you wont have the ethernet controllers installed so its always best if you go to this site on a different computer and downloading the ethernet controllers on a removable memory stick to install it on the acer computer, as soon as this is done you will be able to use the acer site to download everything or the microsoft update to give you everything your computer has lost if you need further help use the comment below,

Some acer laptops will only work on certain Operating System if you have completely re-formatted and on boot up pressing ALT + F10 button does not activate the recovery partition then there might have been a fault during the initial installation and a fault occoured with the keyboard try re loading the laptop with the original software that came with the laptop,
First plug in the Notebook to a power socket with your adapter. Power on the Notebook and you will see the Acer splash
screen. Immediately prell ALT and keep tapping F10 at the same time. It will take you to a screen where you will see
"windows is loading files" or "starting acer recovery" it will ask you, how do you want to restore?" choose
the option "restore to factory default" and click continue. It will go through the restore process and within 15 - 20 minutes it should finish the process. Your Notebook will be back to factory default settings and once again you can see the OOBE.
Hope you find this solution helpful.

Unlike
other laptops, Acer laptops integrate a computer management utility
called 'Acer eRecovery Management' to create backup of hard drive data,
create restore point, reinstall applications & drivers, and reset
Acer laptop to factory setting.
Step 1: Before starting your Acer laptop, ensure that there is no external storage device attached to it. Now start your laptop.
Step 2: Press 'Alt + F10' when the laptop starts booting, and wait for a moment while Windows loads the reset files.
Step 3:When 'Acer eRecovery Management' window appears, select 'Restore System from factory default' and click 'Next' to continue.
Step 4: Again click 'Next' to
reset your Acer laptop. This process will erase all data from your hard
disk and reset your Acer laptop to original factory settings.
Step 5: Click 'OK' in the notification window to begin the the resetting operation. Now wait while your Acer laptop is reset to factory settings.
Tips: You can also create a backup copy of your laptop data before factory reset. Simply click 'Backup' in 'Acer eRecovery Management' window.
restart pc, when its booting back up, keep pressing F8 to get windows to start in safe mode, select safe mode, then windows will start with no drivers and large desktop icons, and an administartor account will be on the desktop.
Click on the admin account and go to control panel, click users icon, then click change an account, choose your account then click on delete password, restart pc and you will be able to log in
I have 2 Acer laptops and neither have a restore option, usually you are prompted by Acer to make a backup disc as soon as you first boot it up and restore from that
