The T con board is faulty. It is the board with flat ribbon cables going to the bottom of the screen. It is not hard to replace this board. You can get one from here: TV Parts Universal TV Stands DLP Chips ShopJimmy
Fault to the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
Your TV need a through checkup. Main board, power supply regulator board, back-light inverter board need to be troubleshooted. Contact any service technician, or the authorized service center.

First check to make sure that the audio isn't "Muted". Second, Go into the user menu and check to make sure that the "Melody or Chime " is turned "on". Third, Turn the volume up half way.Fourth, Turn "off" the set. You should hear a "Down" Melody or chime. Next turn "on" the set. If you did hear the Melody when you turn the set "on" or "off" then the audio system in the set is ok. If you did not hear the Melody then the Main bd needs to be replaced. Have a trained Samsung tech repair your set.

After installing the $11 kit and the additional $13 kit recommended by (http://preher-tv.blogspot.com/2010/01/samsung-hpt4254-no-power-repaired.html) mostly surface mount diodes (also available on Ebay), the Samsung HP-T4254 came back on, but would only play for 4 minutes. I found DX801 flowing both directions, replaced it with a diode from Fry's. Works great, $26 total repair costs :-)
