Kyocera c3100 machine failure - Kyocera Office Equipment & Supplies

The scanner lock button on the Kyocera TASKalfa 4012i is located on the left-hand side of the machine, towards the back of the scanner unit. It is a small lever that can be turned to lock or unlock the scanner unit.

scanner is still locked unlock the scanner

This code means machine's scanner home possition error. Try to check scanner home possition sensor if fixed in its possition. if not try to check scanner lamp unit movement .

please unlock the 2 scanner lock on top left side of the machine. the lock will be in yellow colour and it will covered by red tape.

its related to Scanner.. check home position sensor.. clean sensor.. reinsert connectors.. also check cable..

C6400 is a fixing unit error.

To reset -

Try this, enter "10871087" from keypad, You should now be in maintenance mode.
Enter "163"press "Start / Print" key.

You should see a screen that says "Execute".

Cursor / highlight "Execute".

Press "Start / Print key.

The machine will turn off and should come back to ready. If not then you need to replace the fixing unit.
