Water in the floor
Not sure what you are calling the "collector". Most of the time, problems like this are caused by a build up of gunk at the point where the water, which has condensed and dripped down into a tray, leave the try and is suppose to go either into the water bucket or out the drain hose if that is attached. Because this area gets plugged up, the water has to go some where else, which results in leakage over the side of aforementioned tray.
The best solution is to remove all the covers to get to this drain area and clean it out, but that is a pain to do. I'd suggest trying to run a pipe cleaner or nylon wire tie back up into the area where the water is suppose to leave the dehumidifier on it's way to the bucket or hose. Flushing some water back that way with a turkey baster might work also, but would result in some splashing, causing a little additional temporary leakage.
