Either fan wheel loose on shaft or bad bearings in motor

Try setting the fan control to "AUTO" this will cause it to cut out with the compressor.

Sounds like if this is a heat pump, maybe it tripped out on high pressure. Maybe just unplugging the system may reset the control boards. This maybe due to a dirty filter or dirty evaporator coil.

I have a Amana PTAC Model PTH153A50AC with the DigiSmart upgrade kit (DSUK01B) which as of last night stoped generating heat. I tried the Diagnostic and got a "LF" displayed. But I find no reference to what LF means. HELP please. Also I looked but can't find a reset button either.

When I try to plugin My Amana ptac it blow breaker .What could be the reason.

You have a shorted unit. Check the compressors, condensing motors, and the indoor fan motor. Replace defective parts found from the unit.

Just pull unit out and take a look could be something in ther fan. Or the fan is hitting something. There is no lube fittings on that unit. Rus

Ptac fan keeps blowing

Reset the unit to factory setting by take the master switch off of 10 sec.
Then press and hold the cool and heat button down while turning the master switch back on.
