Try going into options, then security options and cleaning out the memory, sometimes not cleaning out the cache and cookies can slow things down.

remove the battery and leave it out for 2 minutes.
replace the battery in the phone and let it boot.
see if it works. If it doesn't work return it to where you bought it for a new one. the screen is probably defective.

There is a Blackberry Repair Guide that shows how to open a Blackberry 8900 Javelin and the storm is very similar. Check for any loose connections inside, otherwise you may need a new screen. Once it is open it's as easy as taking the broken screen off the front assembly and installing a new one, the parts are available on ebay. There are also third party blackberry repair services that will do this for you if you aren't covered under any other warranties.

Go to your call log.
Press the BlackBerry menu button.
Scroll to "Options" and click on it.
Click on "Call Logging".
Click on the logging option you would like.
Press the menu button and save your selection.

There is a download for pocket mac on Blackberries website. this should work. After installing the initial one, there is a patch The patch address is listed below.

if you are still experiencing issues, please contact Verizon Wireless support while using a different phone than your storm. The support team should be able to walk you through getting your equipment to sync. The storm should be compatible with a Mac.
