Change the print setting for paper weight in the print dialog to labels. The printer runs slower and will allow enough time for the toner to adhere.

OKI C5100 printer Right side of printed page has repeat print. What do I have to do to get a clean copy without the duplicate print?

You have to determine if the drum cartridge or the fuser is the problem. Do a panic stop before the paper hits the fuser and see if it has the residual image. If it is clean then the fuser is the problem.

When printing on my oki c5100 text or image - it prints fine but with a smudge/ghost of the image or text also on the paper. I know I need to order new toner - could this be why?

Open you printer and pull out the fuser assembly and look if the upper roller is fine because if it`s damaged it could lead to the double image.

Code 356 Belt replacement needed for Oki C5150

By removing all the cartridges you'll find the belt. Replacing is very simple. Lift it out and put in the new one.

We have recently bought a second hand OKI C5200 Colour Laser Printer and even though the black and white print seems to be great the clour is coming out with coloured streaks, what would you recommend?

One or more of the drums may be defective. Swap the black with another color and print a document. If that color printed the charectors ok, then continue the test with the other drums each taking a turn in the Black drum position until you find the bad drum.

I cannot print in color even though I can print

What has changed?

Is it possible that the color cartridge is empty?

Check the driver properties and make sure that the driver hasn't been changed to "Monochrome", "Grayscale" or Black and White.

Hmmmm.... Just a question, is it a brand new cartridge? If it is, it may be dried up.

OKI C5100 alignment issues, I think

FROM YOUR USEWR MANUAL>>>>>>>

In colour menu

AJUST REGISTRATION, press EXECUTE
Performs automatic colour registration
adjustment. Normally this is done on power
on and when the top cover is opened and
then closed. This process accurately aligns
the cyan, magenta and yellow images to the
black image.

Use oki drums and toners, clean led heads

Horizontal colored lines through grayscale printed photos

Hi George,

It sound's like an ink-feed issue:

1) Dirty heads, even after cleaning
2) No-ink or poor quality ink
3) Damaged head: some are part of the cartridge, some are not
4) Air bubbles in ink

The test page is typically not as hi-res nor as saturated as a
photo print. The hi-res photo puts the greatest demand on the print head.

The color lines you see are actually lines of missing color,
where the head has failed to deposit ink, so one or two primary
colors are missing from the complete picture.

For example missing yellow will make a blue line.
Missing magenta will make a green line
Missing cyan will make a red line.... etc..

Clean the heads again and again, print again and again,
hoping to flush the system.

BUT, keep in mind that cleaning wastes huge amounts of
ink and tiny little cartridges of ink cost more than many new printers.

OKI C5100 only printing cyan

I need to know if the test page that the unit prints as "Demo Page" comes out fine. If this is the case, your problem is within your application (software) or computer connection (check all cables). If this is NOT the case, I'll need to know more about your scenario. Operating system, type of connection (USB, parallel) and what are you trying to print. I'll be waiting.
