Why is canon printer blinking e13 - Canon MultiPASS MP390 All-In-One InkJet Printer

the manual shows only 3 and 4 digit error codes
the error may be everheating or by dust build up inside, clean it?
e13 on some of their printers is ink out or low.

Locate the STOP/RESET/RESUME button on your printer which is represented by a triangle within a circle on the body of your printer and is usually in red, white or black as pictured below. With the reset button located hold it down for at least five seconds and then release it.

On what model of Canon? The only E13 code I find is for the Canon Pixma printer.

E13 means that the printer cannot detect the ink level. Press and hold the 'Stop/Reset' button for 5 seconds to continue printing.

Damage canon printers, can be identified from the number of lights blinking in orange. So, you calculate, how many times the orange light is blinking. Example E2, E3, E4, E5, E8, E9, E13, E14, E15, etc.

Press and hold the Reset button about 10 second. E13 error on canon pixma, occurs twice. E13 for black cartridges, and E13 for the color cartridges

E13 is Ink level cannot be detected.
Ink may have run out and the function for detecting remaining ink level
will be disabled because level cannot be correctly detected.
You can continue printing by pressing the stop/reset button for 5 seconds.
