Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

back screws off (you can get the correct tools or bodge with opened long nose pliers)
battery is GP377 50-99p each, you need 2, the 'seconds tic' will **** juice and last about 6 months, the time one will last 12 months + so buy 3-4 batteries.

I have the same watch Fossil FS-4127 and I too can't find a replacement band. Appears to be planned obsolesence by Fossil. This FixYa site is almost as bad as Fossil, which is all advertisements and no answers whatsoever.

Thank you for contacting FixYa.

Unfortunately, unless it is stamped on the back of the watch, or it is in your manual, there is no way of knowing the battery that goes in any watch without the old one, or very accurate sizing of the area it goes in. You can try to contact Fossil via this link:

http://www.fossil.com/en_US/shop/customer_care/static/fossil-customercare.html

Best regards.
