Hard reset epson 810 rings continuously won't reset. doesn't function. help! is there hard reset?

do you let the paper get pulled by it'self? Maybe try to push it and maybe it will grab it better to pull through...if not try a shop to fix or buy new one.

Almost any printer produced since the R320 came online has had the ability to use buttons on the printer for resetting, etc... removed... It simply doesn't work.

Instead you usually need a reset utility which is the case for the CX3810.

A link and all the related information for the CX3810 is available via the quickfind tool I have on OctoInkjet and in this case you need and can download the A10_IPR tool that Epson released for North American customers a few years back.

I expect by now you've solved this problem - but just in case .....

The waste ink "protection" counter has exceeded its limit and needs resetting. You can do this easily by using the SSC utility - download from:

Install it, and double click the ssc printer icon in the bottom right corner (System Tray). Choose Configuration and set your printer type (810), then close the ssc window. Now right click the ssc icon in the sytem tray and choose Protection Counter. You should see that the current count is above the limit; then choose reset to set it to zero. Turn the printer off then back on again. This will stop the lights flashing and restore normal operation.

I dont know if you are looking for the driver since you didnt finish the sentence...if thats what you are looking for...there it go

Is it just not printing on the paper and feeding it thru, or will it just not do anything? I need more info?
