simple, insert the sim card(proper size is important) and check if you see the signal icon in the laptop(almost all have this),then you will see if is working or you need a driver for this(normaly is installed automatically with the motherboard)
Hi
The Acer d270 appears to be a netbook and not a mobile phone. I have had a look at the full data sheet here Aspire one D270
by pressing the Full data sheet link just below the general description. There is no mention of any facility to install a SIM card and as such they are very unlikely to have developed any drivers for SIM cards.
FROM THE OWNERS MANUAL: Installing the SIM Card If your SIM card was not preinstalled, you must install the SIM card before you can use iPhone.
Install the SIM card: 1 Insert the end of the SIM eject tool into the hole on the SIM tray. Press firmly and push it straight in until the tray pops out. If you don't have a SIM eject tool, you can use the end of a paper clip. 2 Pull out the SIM tray and place the SIM card in the tray. The angled corner of the SIM ensures that the card fits only the correct way in the tray. 3 With the tray aligned as shown, carefully replace the SIM tray containing the SIM card in iPhone.
I would turn machine completely off remove the battery unplug it them push the power button hold for 2-3 seconds to discharge, place the battery back in plug it back in and restart the computer without the card inserted. Once the computer settles in then retry inserting the card again. If that does not work re-install the driver again with the disc that came with your sim card. If you do not have the driver you can retrieve a download copy at the support and downloads and drivers area of the 3g sim card site. There should be a web address available on the card possibly. Call tech support for the card if all else fails they will walk you through it. John
Do you mean a card reader????? not sure if the s10e or any model lenovo actually uses a sim card, but if you are referring to the card reader i would imagine that the drivers are not installed for it here is the link to that driver, make sure you select your Operating system and then choose card reader on the list and download and install the newest version of the driver.
Ok i think you remove some program or update that use sims 3.. the unique form to play again its uninstall sims 3 and install again but before made a back up to your sims folder. To continiue playing the same saved sims.. please click is my solution was helpful good luck
The card is most likely NOt the problem, best thing to do is upgrade the Graphics drivers and other drivers... If that doesnt work...
Check to make sure the Ram is sufficient,
I believe it would be the problem if its a older card, and Sims 3 is a high Polygon game. and Alot of radeon cards Get old quick.. if You really want to play sims 3 Upgrade your Video Card If your running a Crossfire Mother board (Ati only) Buy one of the new Ati cards 4890 i believe is the newest one, Its a great card
If your running a Full compatibility board buy one of the new Nvidia's But before you buy make sure your Computer Supports it :)
